What is an insurance agent and why use one?
An insurance agent is authorized by Mexico's National Insurance and Bonding Commission to advise you and arrange policies on your behalf. Because we work with several insurers, we compare options for you and support you during the policy term and in claims.
Which insurers do you work with?
With 33 companies, including AXA, GNP, Quálitas, MAPFRE, Allianz, Chubb, SURA, Zurich, HDI, Banorte, MetLife, Bupa and Insignia Life, plus the bonding companies Dorama and Sofimex.
Can I buy insurance from anywhere in Mexico?
Yes. We serve clients across Mexico and foreigners by WhatsApp, phone and email, in Spanish and English.
What is a deductible?
It is the amount you pay when a claim occurs before the insurer pays the rest. A higher deductible usually lowers the price of the policy.
What is coinsurance in health insurance?
It is the percentage of the medical bill you pay after the deductible, usually up to a cap. Each plan sets its own percentage and cap.
Does my US or Canadian car insurance cover me in Mexico?
Usually not. To drive in Mexico you need a policy from a Mexican insurer. We can issue one for days, months or a year.
What do I do after a car accident?
Get to safety, call your insurer's claims line and wait for the adjuster. Then message us on WhatsApp and we will support you through the process.
Can I pay for my insurance monthly?
Most insurers allow annual, semiannual, quarterly or monthly payments, and some accept interest-free installments on credit cards. We tell you the options for each policy.
What if I disagree with my insurer?
First we help you sort it out. You can also go to the insurer's Specialized Service Unit or to CONDUSEF, which protects users of financial services.
